What is wireless high speed internet?

Wireless Internet is the newest way to recieve the internet into your home or business. Wireless gives you speed as fast or faster then cable, without the periodical slow times cable presents and it is up to 30 times faster then dial-up modem, with no dialing, but always stays connected.

How does it work?

We will perform a site survey to be sure you would be able to recieve a signal from our building or one of our access points. We will place an antenna on your roof or side of building, then one wire (Ethernet Cable) is run to your computer and you will have a fast always on connection to the internet.

Is this more expensive that other Internet services?

The pricing for Wireless Internet access is comparable to that of similar DSL services.

How secure is wireless Internet service?

Wireless Internet Access is a relatively secure technology. The security mechanisms in place to protect user data are similar to those used with cable or DSL access.

Is it reliable?

EZlinx's wireless access is very reliable, it utilizes fixed wireless technology,
so the Internet is always "on" for you. That means no more waiting for the modem
to connect and no more disconnects because of noise in the phone line. Because
you're not using a phone line to connect to the Internet, you will not have to clear
the line so that others can use the phone.

Can I take a telephone calls while surfing the internet?

YES! Hi-speed wireless internet does not use telephone lines.
Hi-speed wireless is a microwave signal that travels through the air
from your antenna to EZlinxt's broadcast antenna.

Can I connect more than one computer?

Yes. You can connect as many computers as you want through a single Wireless Internet connection.

Does it matter what kind of computer I have?

No. Any computer with an ethernet port should work with Wireless Internet

Is there a greater risk of someone stealing information from a wireless connection?
