Our Mail Server Settings Have Changed!

Please make the following changes to your mail program settings so you can continue to send and receive email.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any problems please contact us.

New Mail Server Settings

(additional instructions with screen shots are below):

Server Information:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.ezlinx.net
Outgoing mail server (POP3): mail.ezlinx.net

User Information:
User Name: user@ezlinx.net (use your FULL email address)
Password: Do NOT change this (If password fails, please call us)

Outgoing Mail Authentication:
SMTP Authentication: REQUIRED (use same setting as incoming server)

NOTE: Don't change anything that you are not specifically instructed to do so


Please Note: These instructions may vary based on the version being used.

OUTLOOK 2003:

OPEN Outlook

On menu bar go to: Tools > Email Accounts

Go To Tools > Email Accounts

SELECT View or change existing e-mail accounts > CLICK Next

View or change existing e-mail accounts > CLICK Next

Make the following changes to your Email Account settings

Server Information:
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.ezlinx.net
Outgoing mail server (POP3): mail.ezlinx.net

User Information:
User Name: user@ezlinx.net (use your FULL email address)
Password: Do NOT change this (If password fails, please call us)

Then CLICK for More Settings

Make these changes to your Email Account settings

(after you CLICK More Settings button)

On Internet Email Settings Window

Make sure there is a checkmark by "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
and "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected

My server requires authentication

Click OK, OK, Close

Please Note: These instructions may vary based on the version of Outlook you are using


OUTLOOK EXPRESS:

  1. Click Tools, Accounts
  2. Click the Mail tab, select the your e-mail account from the list, and click Properties
  3. Click the Servers tab
  4. Make sure your Account Name field contains your FULL e-mail address (e.g. you@ezlinx.net)
  5. Set the Incoming mail server (POP3) to mail.ezlinx.net
  6. Set the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) to mail.ezlinx.net (unless your Internet provider specified a special server, then do no change it!)
  7. Make sure there is a checkmark by "My server requires authentication"
  8. Click Settings and make sure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected
  9. Click OK, OK, Close
